Cathy Wong

Cathy Wong is an experienced business leader with a diverse background in the healthcare industry. At Prognos, she supports the Business Development team in their sales efforts, specifically in defining how Prognos can best support different pharmaceutical clients with our products and services. Previously, Cathy was a management consultant at Platform Advisors LLC (part of The CDM Group) and Booz & Co. where she focused exclusively on healthcare clients – pharma companies, payers and diagnostic lab companies. She has supported global healthcare clients in developing innovative growth strategies for their corporations as well as evaluating and implementing efficiency measures. She has also supported global pharmaceutical clients in driving growth for early-stage and in-line compounds as well as overall franchises in Oncology, Diabetes, Cardiology, Immunology and Biosimilars. In the early stages of her career, she also served as a Research & Development Scientist and Manufacturing Engineer at Merck & Co. In all of these roles, Cathy’s passion was in finding and developing innovative solutions to address pain points in the healthcare industry.

Cathy graduated with honors from the NYU Stern School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration and from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
